Unveiling the new Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain 2024...the ideal remedy for the crossover revolution |
The all-new Mercedes E-Class All-Terrain has been unveiled in Germany. It will be the second member of the E-Class family, following the launch of the sedan earlier this year.
The new car is longer and wider than before, which will make trips more comfortable than ever before. Passengers in the second row enjoy plenty of space and this should fit well with the larger wheelbase. The car's storage capacity has also been increased, even though all the seats are in place.
But focusing only on the practicality of the car will cause great harm to this car. The car can easily transport medium families while accelerating to 100 km per hour in 4.6 seconds.
The car comes with a very attractive design, and Mercedes adds some additional parts to make it look ready for off-roading. The most striking feature is the car's double grille painted in iridium silver. The car also comes with the distinctive Mercedes star in the middle and a model-specific bumper with a chrome bottom protection plate. It also comes with dark gray wheel arches and distinctive side sills. Another piece of chrome protection was added under the body at the back. Inside, the car came in an All-Terrain version with steel sports pedals and floor mats bearing the All-Terrain logo.
As standard, the car has an Airmatic air suspension system that combines air suspension with adaptive ADS+ shock absorbers. The car contains advanced sensors to detect road defects. Level height control is also standard, maintaining a consistent ride height. When you switch to Comfort mode, the vehicle's level is lowered by 0.6 inches to reduce wind noise and improve efficiency.
The E 450 version comes with a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine connected to a mild hybrid system. The result is 375 hp. The hybrid system can boost power by 23 horsepower while accelerating to 100 km/h in less than five seconds.
It also has the optional front passenger screen, with the full MBUX Superscreen system. Without the passenger screen, the large screen extends the width of the car. The All-Terrain comes with elegant model-specific features such as a 360-degree camera.
The MBUX Entertainment Plus package will be standard equipment, and you can add cool features like active ambient lighting. The car also has a standard Burmester 4D surround sound system.
Mercedes Digital Key is also now available to iPhone and Apple Watch owners. MBUX will also learn about the car's driver's habits and which comfort features you use most often.
Standard safety features include Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, and a Parking Package with reversing camera. As is usually the case with Mercedes, most of the more advanced driver assistance features are optional via the Driver Assistance Package. The car is expected to be sold for between 72 and 75 thousand dollars, and it will arrive at dealerships in 2024.
